Berkshire Community Diaper Project

Support the Berkshire Community Diaper Project in Jan, 2025!

We are proud to announce that the Berkshire Community Diaper Project is our "Every Penny Counts" recipient for January 2025. This incredible non-profit organization helps combat diaper needs in Berkshire County, providing essential support for good health care for infants. By supplying diapers to 25 local food pantries and human service agencies, they ensure that families in need have access to this crucial resource. They have distributed more than 2.3 million diapers since they began.

We invite you to round-up or select a denomination of your choosing at checkout in the month of Jan 2025 to help our community!

Every dollar donated will go solely to the purchase of diapers and wipes for low- to moderate-income families in Berkshire County.

Research completed by the National Diaper Bank Network showed that almost 1 in 2 families struggle to afford diapers. Twenty-five percent of those families reported missing more than 5 days of work out of the prior 30 due to not having the diapers they needed to utilize daycare. The provision of diapers supports families' efforts to attain financial stability. The need in Berkshire County is substantial, and the Diaper Project is the only agency providing diapers year-round to 25 food pantries and human service agencies. We have now distributed more than 2.3 million diapers since we began in September 2014!!

In Northern Berkshire County we routinely provide diapers to Berkshire Nursing Families, Berkshire North WIC, the Friendship Food Pantry, the Family Center of North Berkshire County, Northern Berkshire Pediatrics, and the Williamstown Food Pantry.
